New Enyimba head coach: I’m back home

Newly appointed head coach of Enyimba Samson Unuanel is glad to join the Aba club, a place he calls home.

Unuanel worked with the Aba Millionaire between 2009-10 season, and has now rejoined the side in their bid to qualify from the CAF Champions League group stage where they have South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns, Zamalek of Egypt and Algerian club Entente Setif as opponents.

Only two teams will qualify to the next stage.

“I am back home.” He told Sportdaylive in a brief response on Thursday.

The former Sunshine Stars coach has since teamed up with Paul Aigbogun for the rest of the 2015/16 season to also tinker the side to success in the Nigeria Premier League where they currently seat 4th.

Unuanel has also coached Ocean Boys and Kwara United.
