The Nigerian Community in South Africa said they would give Enyimba International Football club maximum support when they play Mamelodi Sundowns in a CAF Champions League Match.

Enyimba arrived South Africa early on Monday for their clash against the South Africans on Wednesday.

President of Nigeria Union, South Africa, Mr Ikechukwu Anyene, told NAN on phone from Johannesburg that Enyimba would receive full support of Nigerians during their match against Sundowns.

“Some members of Nigerian community were at the airport early today to receive the team. We thank God for journey mercy and we are assuring them of maximum support when they play Sundowns on Wednesday,” he said.

Anyene said Enyimba coach, Paul Aigbogun, assured them that the team would win the match.

“We are equally optimistic that the team will do well and we will mobilise Nigerians to cheer them to victory on match day,” he said.

The President assured that the Nigerian community would make the team have a comfortable stay in South Africa.

Enyimba will play Mamelodi Sundowns at the Atteridgeville   stadium, Pretoria, in a Group B match.
