Nigeria’s Dream Team have finally left their Hotel Indigo in Atlanta, USA, heading to Brazil for the football event of the Rio 2016 Olympics.
The team were due to travel to Brazil on Sunday, but their flight was delayed till Monday, and then the trip suffered another delay, and up till Wednesday night they were still yet to leave Atlanta with their first game just 24 hours away against Japan in Manaus.
But media officer Timi Ebikagboro late on Wednesday said the team are now leaving their hotel in Atlanta for a seven hour flight to Brazil, after a hectic time making plans.
“Dream Team now airport bound, pray for us and wish us well.
“All set to go, Manaus here we come, pray for us.” He wrote on his twitter handle.
