Antwon Hicks, who represented Nigeria in the 110m men’s huddles event at the Rio 2016 Olympics, says he is expecting a baby soon.
Hicks revealed that himself and wife Shareese are expecting a baby girl in January, 2017.
Hicks finished with a time of 14.26s and consequently failed to make it to the medals stage.
“Didn’t have my best race in Rio, but coming home I feel like I’ve won the Gold. I’m so happy to announce that we are expecting our first child; a baby girl; in January! Shareese Hicks thank you for holding me down and doing everything in your power to assure I had a stress free/focus Olympic experience; all while dealing with the challenges of pregnancy, work, and the kitchen sink. Time to put your feet up my queen.” He wrote on his Facebook page.
