The 2018 World Cup qualifiers that begins in October is appearing to be a tough huddle for Nigeria as Zambia captain Rainford Kalaba has promised the Super Eagles a major upset.
The Chipolopolo will host the Super Eagles on October 3 as the road to Russia 2018 begins.
With Cameroon and Algeria also in the group, Kalaba admits it going to be difficult, but was quick to add that it is achievable.
“It’s a difficult group no doubt but nothing is impossible in football,” Kalaba told the Zambia Daily Mail.
“Nigeria, Algeria and Cameroon have quality players in their squad but we must not allow ourselves to be intimidated by them.
“If we put in our best, I’m sure we will create a major upset in the group. It’s not something that is going to be easy but it is achievable.”
