Aiteo Cup: Super Eagles Defender Promises Sokoto United N100,000 Per Goal

Super Eagles defender Shehu Abdullahi has promised his former club, Sokoto United the sum of N100,000 per goal scored against Kano Pillars.

Sokoto United will play against Kano Pillars in the Aiteo Cup Round of 32 on Sunday.

Abdullahi, who currently plays for Turkish side Bursaspor, said he is supporting Sokoto United with N100k per goal.

He made the announcement on his twitter handle on Thursday.

“Dear Sokoto United.

“Ahead of your @aiteogrp game against @pillarsfc this Sunday, I’m supporting the team with N100k per goal.

“Emotional feelings for me, I started my career with home club, Sokoto United before joining @pillarsfc. Both teams face off this weekend.” He wrote.

Abdullahi played for Kano Pillars between 2012 and 2014 before leaving Nigeria to play abroad.
