Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho says he is glad to be among the scorers in a 2-1 victory over Jose Mourinho led Manchester United.
First-half goals from Kevin de Bruyne – a player Mourinho sold when he was at Chelsea to Wolfsburg, and Iheanacho sent City into a 2-0 lead in the first-half before a colossal error by Claudio Bravo gifted Zlatan Ibrahimovic a goal late in the half.
“Am very happy to get a goal and provided an assist too, it’s a good one for me and the team.” Iheanacho said after the game on Saturday.
“I didn’t anticipate the opportunity, but when it came I took it, am very happy.”
The Nigerian forward was however substituted in the 53rd minute for Fernando.
