Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho has thanked fans for their support as the 2015/16 season of the English Premier League ended on Sunday.
Iheanacho scored in the 5th minute before Andre Ayew drew level in the 45th minute for Swansea to end the tie 1-1, a result that took City to the top four finish and a place at the UEFA Champions League next season.
The Nigeria international scored 15 goals for Manchester City in the concluded season, his first in his football career for a top club, and he reckoned it has been a fantastic season.
“Thanks you to all the @MCFC fans for all your support. You made my first season a fantastic one. Have a great summer,” he wrote on twitter.
Manager Pep Guardiola will replace Manuel Pellegrini at the Etihad stadium in the summer as the Chilean played his last game on Sunday.
