The League Management Company has reinstated Giwa FC into the Nigeria Professional Football League.
The LMC sighted a court order from a Plateau State High Court to return the Jos club into the league, as reason.
In May, Giwa FC were banished from the Nigeria Premier League for the 2015/16 football season after failing to honour three games.
Giwa FC did not honour the ties against Wikki Tourists, Akwa United and Enyimba.
The LMC announced on Wednesday on twitter that Giwa FC is back, and all the matches forfeited will now be played.
“Breaking…Giwa FC returns to the NPFL; courtesy Plateau State High Court interim order.
“Registration of players on the basis of Giwa FC expulsion from the NPFL withdrawn. Clubs warned not to feature them; beginning immediately.
“#GiwafcCourtorder: Processes to reschedule matches concerning Jos side now being activated as directed by Plateau State Court.”
