Super Eagles winger Nnamdi Oduamadi opened his goals account for HJK Helsinki in the 5-1 demolition of Ilves in Wednesday’s Veikkausliiga clash at the Sonera Stadium, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
The 25-year-old scored his side’s third goal in the 63rd minute after a brace from former Chelsea and Birmingham striker Mikael Forssell had given the hosts a 2-1 lead before the hour mark.
Sebastian Dahlstroem and Ville Jalasto were also on target in the encounter.
It was Oduamadi’s first strike in seven games for HJK who returned to the league summit on goal difference ahead of Mariehamn, who drew goalless at home to PK-35 Vantaa.
Oduamadi is currently on a season-long loan deal from Italian side AC Milan.
At the Savon Sanomat Arena, Gbolahan Salami failed to add to his three-goal tally in his seventh start for Kuopion Palloseura who spanked PS Kemi 2-0.
The encounter saw three other Nigerians on parade with Azubuike Egwuekwe handed his seventh start of the campaign. Paul Onobi made his debut for Kuopion when he came on for Mika Aeaeritalo at half time and Aliyu Abubakar was introduced in the 82nd minute.

Chidebere Nwakali failed to inspire IK Start as they crashed 3-1 away to Sandnes in the Norwegian Cup on Wednesday. He was on for the entire duration of the encounter in what was his seventh game since joining the club.
Suleiman Abdullahi’s goal was not enough to save Vikings from crashing 2-1 to Vidar in the competition
