CSKA Moscow striker Ahmed Musa is close to joining an English Premier League club.
Musa, who helped CSKA win the Russian league, is most likely to join newly crowned English champions Leicester City.
The club, alongside Arsenal, among other clubs in England reportedly attempted to sign the Nigeria international in January, but talks fell out along the way.
But CSKA’s sporting director, Roman Babayev, has now confirmed that a number of English Premier League clubs have expressed an interest in signing the former VVV Venlo player.
“I cannot say yes or no,” he told Championat
“It is no secret that Musa was and remains in very serious demand particularly from the English teams.
“Until documents are signed, the transfer is not complete and I will not speak about it.”
Musa, who finished the concluded season with 13 goals, has now won three Russian league title.
