Super Eagles stay put in FIFA ranking

Nigeria’s Super Eagles did not make a move in the FIFA ranking for May 2016.
The Super Eagles maintained their 67th place in the world, and 14th in Africa.
Algeria retained the top spot on the continent, and so did Ivory Coast and Ghana in the top three places.
Senegal, Egypt and Cape Verde also held their own in the 4th, 5th and 6th places, with Tunisia, Congo DR, Guinea and Congo completing the top ten teams on the continent.
With no A-international matches played in April, all teams in the top 50 maintained their positions this month with Argentina leading the pack, while the regional composition of said teams also remained unaffected since last month’s ranking.
For May, UEFA has 30 teams in the Top 50, CONMEBOL 8, CAF 7, CONCACAF 3, AFC 2 and OFC 0.
